Concealed Carry Accessories

General Information/CCW Accessories:

The heart of any carry system is the belt that it is mounted to. To attempt to carry a handgun for any length of time on a belt not specifically designed for this purpose will not yield a result appreciated by the carrier. Common dress belts are simply not substantial enough to support the weight of a holster and handgun. This is especially true for the braided leather belts now popular for casual wear. The industry standard for leather dress belts utilizes two plys of very thin leather (2-3 oz.) over a core material of some type of rubber-like substance. All leather belts are commonly found in the 6-7 oz. weight. None are suitable for gun carry.

Double Ply Gun Belts

We offer several styles of belts in varying widths in order to assure that you can obtain the perfect blend of belt and holster needed for secure and comfortable carry. In order to properly choose a belt and holster system, you must evaluate what style of clothing you will most commonly be wearing when carrying. If, for example, you wear a suit and tie, you will not be able to wear a 1 3/4 inch wide belt as part of your carry system. The style of holster worn can also make a difference. Following are our suggestions for belt/holster/width combos.

Suit Wear: This will mandate a 1 1/4" belt for most suit pants. If your carry a handgun we strongly recommend a double thickness belt, even with an IWB holster.

Casual Wear: Pleated slacks (which can be worn with sports coat and tie), or jeans will allow the wearing of a 1 1/2 inch belt. While we make a single thick 1.5" belt for gun carry due to customer request, we do not recommend it for anyone but the casual user. The double thick gun belt will do a better job of supporting the weight of the weapon for a far greater period of time than the single thick is able to do.

Jeans and Work Pants: If you wear jeans or work pants exclusively, you can wear a 1 3/4" belt.  If your daily carry gun is a Desert Eagle .50, you will want a double thick 1 3/4" belt, as well as suspenders. Note that all of our in-stock holster gear is cut to fit the 1.5" belt width, and will not work with 1.75" belts.

Measuring Your Belt: To assure a perfect fit, take a belt you currently wear (do not use a braided belt) and measure it from the fold of the leather over the buckle to the hole you are now wearing it in. Provide us with this measurement for your belt size to the closest inch. We do make even and odd size belts (people don't grow only in two inch increments) and will cut your gun belt so that the fourth hole back is your proper fit measurement. Since we use six holes, instead of the industry standard of five, you will have two holes to tighten the belt, and three holes to loosen it. This allows for IWB holster carry without having to purchase another gun belt.

As previously noted, all of our gun belts are available in three widths, 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, or 1 3/4 inch.

Our in stock belts are standard double ply gun belts, in even and odd sizes, from size 32"-size 45".  We do not keep 1 3/4" belts in stock. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipment of a 1 3/4" belt.

The standard double ply gun belt is constructed of two layers of 6-7 oz leather. For extra strength, these layers are cut from the same hide, and then the grain is reversed prior to the belt being assembled. Like the construction of plywood, this greatly increases the integral strength of the belt. Available with brass or nickel hardware, double ply belts are priced as follows:

1.25" -- $69.95

1.50" -- $79.95

1.75" -- $89.95

For belts in sizes over 45", please add $10.00. For belts over size 55", please add $20.00.

Our premium grade gun belt features the same construction as our standard double ply, with one addition. A strip of ABS plastic is added between the layers of leather in order to eliminate any flex in the belt, and to provide a super stable platform. This belt is an excellent choice for those carrying service or duty weapons in plainclothes, especially if other items (handcuffs, radio, ASP baton, etc.) must be carried as well. The ABS belt is available for an additional $20.00 to the price of a standard double ply belt, again with your choice of nickel or solid brass hardware.

(Please Note: ABS belts are available only made to order, you must allow 4-6 weeks for delivery)

Magazine Carriers

Question: "Do I really need an extra mag? After all, statistically most shootings involve just a few rounds, and my pre-ban mag holds 15 uranium-depleted hollow-point wonder rounds." Answer: "Statistically, being involved in a shooting is such a rarity that if you are going to trust in the chances, you don't even need to have a gun. As for magazine capacity, have you ever had a malfunction, and can you state for certain that you will not?" Please remember to figure old Mr. Murphy into any equation that your life may depend upon. If you have made the comittment to go armed, then carrying an extra magazine isn't that much more bothersome, and, as the Boy Scouts always say, "Be Prepared".

Single Magazine Carriers

Pictured on the far left, our Standard Single Mag Carrier will securely carry your mag close in against the body. The leather is form fitted to the magazine the carrier is intended for, and the carrier attaches to the belt by the use of a belt tunnel which is also form fitted.  The carrier is designed to allow easy access to the spare magazine, and a good grip of the magazine prior to withdrawal.  All of our magazine carriers are designed to carry with the bullets forward in the carrier, as is per doctrine of virtually every major shooting school.  These features will add to the speed of an emergency reload.  The single standard carrier is available for $24.95.

Pictured to the right of the Standard Single Carrier is the IWB Single Carrier. This carrier is designed to complement our line of IWB holsters. The belt loop system attaches to the belt, with the form fitted magazine pouch going inside the trousers for the ultimate concealment package. The IWB carrier is also available for $29.95 + S&H.

Note: This carrier is only available to fit single stack .45 caliber magazines (such as 1911's) or double stack 9mm/.40 caliber magazines, such as Beretta/S&W/Sig-Sauer, etc.)  It is NOT available for Glock/H&K USP/or other very wide body magazines.

Another featured single carrier is our 2-Slot Angle magazine carriers. This carrier features "pancake" style construction, with a belt slot on either side of the magazine itself for stability, and to pull the magazine in closer to the body for the greatest concealment.  The 2-Slot Angle (pictured) is designed to carry the magazine in the kidney position behind the back and is made as a companion carrier for our Radical Behind the Back Belt Slide.  The 2 Slot magazine carrier is available for $29.95 + S&H.

Our last single mag is our Clip On Single. This magazine carrier utilizes the same "talon" style clip that our Undercover/Covert Carry holsters use, and is an ideal accessory for the Fusion Paddle Holster, as it also allows removal without having to take off the belt. The Clip On Single Mag Carrier is $29.95 + S&H.

Double Magazine Carriers

Our Standard Double Magazine Carrier features the same form fitted retention as our single carriers. Unlike some carriers, incorrectly designed to carry the magazines in opposite directions, the Standard Double carrier is designed to carry both magazines with the rounds facing forward. This is in accordance with current doctrine from all major shooting schools regarding hand positioning and reloads. The two rivets  in the center of the holder are not tension screws, as our form fitting pouchs do not require cost saving methods to achieve that end. Instead, they are in place to pinch the leather in the center of the carrier, holding the assembly together. The full length belt tunnel on the inside of the carrier is form fitted to the specific width and type of belt specified by the user, providing a secure and stable platform for the magazines. The reverse side of the carrier has two one-way snaps at the top to allow the it to be taken on and off the belt without having to remove the belt. Like all of our carriers, the Standard Double allows a full grip on the magazine while still in the leather, and is available in black or mahogany for $39.95 + S&H.

Shown is our Clip On Tube Flashlight Carrier. It is available for most tactical flashlights such as the Streamlight Scorpion, SureFire 6P,  Nitrolon, 6Z and other comparable lights. The Tube Light Carrier is $29.95.

Finally, for those who prefer the revolver, we offer Single or Double Speedloader Cases. Splitting the rounds over the belt in order to carry close to the body, they are $29.95 and $39.95.
